I always liked the Discord design. However, the radical change in the logo makes it feel a bit off for now. It isn't just too "gamy" anymore, and I think it doesn't follow Discord's initial core values.

Discord has so much freedom to go with their style. There is no need to follow the "simplify" trend like other companies.

Still, I believe Discord does the right things. Many people will prefer the old style, but those changes make Discord more welcoming and straightforward.

I am excited about what we will see in the future!
