How to organise a day

When realising how short and limited our life is, many people often think about how they can get the most out of their day. On average, human life ends after 30.000 days, so it is essential not to waste a single day.

Successful people often plan out their whole day because they cannot buy more time with money. Fulfilling every day with what they want to do and achieve is one of the best things humans can do.

Planning

On the day before, it is essential to get a list of tasks to do. Every day in the morning, it is only beneficial when there is already a set amount of tasks to do—no wandering around. When someone knows what he needs to finish for today, he will likely be more motivated to put effort into reaching his goal.

It is vital to order tasks. When starting with the smaller and more straightforward tasks, it is more likely, that something can distract, or not work out as planned. Smaller tasks should be kept short, but the risk they need too much attention is too high. Doing the most important tasks first ensures safety. Afterwards, it is not crucial if a not important task does not work out as intended. Just postpone it to the next day, or leave it on the side.

One thing to try out is also setting fixed times for a task. Knowing what to do when can help keep track of what should be done by now. Also, having planned breaks helps to prevent stress and to be overworked.

How to track all the tasks for a day can be done in many different ways. Doing it on paper is the best way because hands can hold it. The physical paper builds a more substantial relation to the tasks than having it digitally. Having it in an app makes it susceptible that someone exits the app and never revisits it. It is not possible to exit paper dough.

Time wasters

Keeping track of screen time like Instagram or TikTok, is essential. Twenty minutes a day is not much, but this wastes five whole days annually in the long term. Doing sports or trying new things are some simple ways to use those five days better.

Nowadays, each smartphone can show screen time. Either by downloading a third-party app or by having it already built-in into the system. Try to delete all time-wasting applications. At first glance, someone can get annoyed by having apps, not on their spot as used to, many even reinstall them, just because they do not know what they should do otherwise. Only the strong-willed people can kill their addictions completely.

Conclusion

Plan the whole day out and eliminate all time wasters, to be more productive.
